My story

About me

For 8 years, I have been transforming components into unique metal sculptures under the nickname Jackob.

I created my very first sculpture from electronic parts more than a decade ago. Creating was a way for me to unwind, and the creative process began to fulfill me. As the number of creations grew, it became clear that there was a growing interest in them.

What started as a hobby slowly turned into an overwhelming passion. I love what I do because there's a part of me in it, and each sculpture is unique.

I now understand that we each have only one life, and it’s amazing when you do what you love.

I'm discovering the uniqueness of recycled metal and inspire others to appreciate the distinctiveness of my sculptures.

How Does the Creation Process Work?

The idea to use recycled car parts and scrap metal came to me only 8 years ago. I source the components directly from scrapyards, striving to give new life to otherwise useless waste.

These parts come from engines of decommissioned cars and motorcycles, gearboxes, chains, bolts, and nuts, as well as old cutlery. Some sculptures are inspired by well-known characters from fantasy and sci-fi movies, fairy tales, comics, or car and motorcycle models, while others are created from my imagination or based on photos.

The heads of some sculptures are made using casting techniques from molds I craft myself. Nearly finished sculptures are coated with clear lacquer or resin to prevent further damage or corrosion. Occasionally, a colored layer is added to enhance the sculpture's character, but usually, a clear coat is used to preserve the features and origin of the pieces

I'm creating sculptures that withstand the test of time and inspire future generations.
